Terms of Use
Effective 14 October 2026. These terms govern use of CLIREN websites, accounts, community and learning services. By using an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and any product-specific terms presented at purchase or in a signed agreement.
Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify CLIREN of suspected misuse. Accounts and access are personal unless an institutional arrangement states otherwise. CLIREN may suspend access needed to address fraud, abuse, security, non-payment or material breach.
Learning and professional information
Course and resource content supports professional learning and does not replace protocol, sponsor, ethics, regulatory, legal or clinical decisions. Certificates describe the participation or assessment actually completed and do not imply external accreditation unless explicitly stated.
Services and research data
Technology, data-management, analytics and institutional work is governed by a written scope defining responsibilities, security, deliverables, acceptance and fees. Customers must have lawful authority to provide systems, data and instructions. Research data must not be submitted through general contact or community forms.
Intellectual property
CLIREN content may be used for personal or internal professional learning unless another licence is stated. Do not redistribute paid materials, remove notices or use CLIREN marks without permission. Customer and project intellectual-property terms are defined in the applicable agreement.
Availability and liability
Planned maintenance, external services and events outside reasonable control may affect availability. Any service-level commitment must appear in a signed service schedule. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited according to the applicable purchase or service agreement.
